The Season of Love, Peace, Joy.. Christmas!!

Ho Ho Ho!! It's mummy's favourite season of the year..Every year mummy will bring me to one of her favourite shopping malls to take pics. This year, daddy and ah yi joined us!! Yippee!!

Went to daddy's favourite japanese resturant for dinner then we proceed to conqure the super duper crowded Orchard Road.. it was such an eye opening, carolling along the streets..performances..and also the sweat smell from all the crowd!! It's the 1st time mummy actually walk along the street of Orchard Road during this season.Needless to say about daddy, he was wishing he's at home instead!! haha

Bough Ah Yi a BIG christmas present..Hope she likes it. Daddy bought me a present as well! Another Thomas & friends set! haha.. Mummy is going to go mad.. Daddy choose a present for mummy but mummy didn't want it, daddy says mummy's going for the kill, that's y she rejected the present he chose for her! Is that true, mummy? We'll see..

Father & Son Bonding time

It's been a long while since the last time daddy has time and also the mood to bring the whole family out for some family activities.Usual weekends are rest days for daddy as he's usually worn out after a week of hardwork.
We went for a hearty lunch @ Suntec and then daddy brought me to the fortune fortune and also feed the koi there. Mummy said the Kois are well fed, all so fat!! haha Nevertheless, i enjoyed myself very much!

It's been a long time since i last log online..simply due to my carelessness, forgetfulness, etc..forgotten to close the window and pc was down with flu haha!! Finally pc got discharged frm hospital and i'm back!!

Now is a busy period for me, simply cos i'm planning for Claire's birthday party. Not sure if i should hold it as a big affair, just like what we did for Ryan.. inviting all friends and relative to share the joy or to hold a simple luncheon / dinner with family members only. After some hard thinking,daddy decided to hold a simple celebration for Claire. Some how i felt like Claire's being short changed,she's not enojying what Ryan had..Seems like being the second child doesn't get the best..Feels kind of upset for her.

Claire is a rather smart gal.I could feel that she is able to sense that she's not getting as much attention..love..care therfore she'll yell at the top of her voice for attention. Whenever i carry her, plays with her..she's very happy. Her learning is a little more advance compared to Ryan. she can comprehend and is able to follow instructions.. i'm proud of her!

Thomas & Friends LIVE!

Thomas & Friends is one of my favourite cartoon character..Mummy is bringing me to catch the LIVE show!! i was so happy and excited that i didn't want to nap before the show..therefore i doze off on my way there..Mummy arrived a little earlier, so she let me have a little longer nap in the car..

I'm all dressed in Thomas & Friends clothes..mummy didn't like my to be in cartoon clothes. She finds it kiddish..after all i'm a kid wor..

Mummy bought this set of Thomas as a surprise for me. I only get to know about it today!

When we reached, i saw many fellow friends having the Thomas light stick.. i wanted it as well, though i didn't ask mummy to buy..she knows i wan!

No wonder i'm such a mummy boy, cos mummy knows me best!

Luckily mummy managed to get the first row seat tickets..cos it's kind of a small stage, therefore some of the characters performed on the floor instead of the stage.. Else i'm sure i'll be blocked by aunties/ uncles seating in front of me!

It's such a coincident that my friends are also attending today's show!

Play Time!

This week is school holiday week @ Julia Gabriel..Ryan's classmates decided to meet up for some fun together. Initial plan was to have picnic at Botanic Gardens but was change to playground fun due to the weather..rained!!

Claire is a very observant and curious gal..she's more adventurous compared to Ryan. Look how curious she is in the wooden car..


She can't resist the temptation of riding the car all by herself! "Claire, some day you'll be able to..it's too early now."

I'm trying to get Ryan to pedal the tricycle.. He's quite a lazy boy, would prefer to be assisted in many ways..eg, holding of his milk bottle when he was a baby..only last X'mas then he starts to hold his milk bottle! Same goes for the tricycle that Daddy bought for him..he never want to pedal, would prefer to be pushed while he rest his legs on the pedal! Now it's a good chance for him to learn cos this tricycle doesn't have a handle for him to be pushed around! haha

Look at this boy..simply too lazy to pedal..he ended up'walking' in the tricycle!! Faint..

My 1st swim!!

Finally mummy's bringing me for some water play..
I remember trying on swimming suit..but it's been a long time since i last wore it and it has yet to be worn for a swim before..

Mummy was so worried that i might fuss, she done lots of preparation work before putting me into the pool.. The water in the pool was cold..but i enjoyed it.

I'm seating in Gor gor's pre loved swimming float..though mummy bought me a new float but i think i already outgrown it before it's been used..kinda wasted, it's in pretty pink!

Gor gor is simply so happy with the toy water gun Dua Pek bought for him..He was trying to see how to fix it..

Can't wait to shoot far far man!!


There's something wrong with the water gun..somehow the water doesn't shoot out..

Mummy's trying to fix the problem so gor gor can have his fun in the pool. Mummy feels that the water gun might have got short circuit that's why it can't work..It's a battery operated water gun, dun think it can be soak in the pool..that's y..

Now that gor gor's gun cannot shoot..he can still have fun with the water gun in other ways.. filling it up with water and pour the water out into my car! Arghh... gor gor!!

Ah Gong's Birthday

It was Ah Gong's birthday on last sunday. We had dinner at one of his favourite resturants. It was a surprise for Ah Gong..and of course he was delighted that we had a mini celebration for him.

The dinner was good, everyone of us enjoyed the food.

Look!! Claire was also enjoying herself there.

Needless to say..Ryan blew the candle immeidately after the birthday song..

Happy birthday Ah Gong!!

Onboard Singapore Flyer

Yippee!! Finally can get onboard the Singapore Flyer, else everytime i can only see it from my car seat whenever mummy drives around the area. Was so very happy when mummy told me that she'll be bringing me to the Flyer.

Another surprise was when i woke up frm my nap before the trip, Ah mah came over and she told me she'll be joining us to the Flyer.
Claire and Cherry jie jie is also joininig us to the Flyer!!

Half way in the mid sky.. iwanted to pee pee.. Chiam!! Mummy told Cherry jie jie not to bring anything, leave everything in the car..luckily managed to find a plastic bag in Ah Mah's bag..Who knows..the plastic bag has a small hole..it leaked!! That's my Flyer Pee!!

Halfway thru..Claire fell asleep..Guess the flyer is moving really slowly that made Claire so sleepy..

I was getting bored too..keep complaining that the flyer is so slow.. Luckily the uncle gave me a Flyer pack..to keep myself entertained with the beautiful stickers haha!!

Bambini

After Ryan had recovered from his fever, i decided to bring him out for some fun. Also another alternative for him to have some stretching and exercise while he's playing. It's been couple of months since the last time we went there. This time i accompanied him through the tunnels, slides, ball ponds,etc.. It's been a long time since the last time i accompanied him thru the whole session. I realised my boy has grown up so much..he's motor skill has improved and he is able to enjoy himself there better now.

Claire has her fair share of fun at the babies soft corner.. She enjoyed ridding on the rocking horse best. She didn't really like the ball pond though..guess she felt insecure to be in it.

Playing together

This is the very 1st time gor gor and mei mei started playing together. It really melts my heart when i witness it happening. *watery eyes*

Whenever Ryan was playing, he hardly invite Claire to join in. He'll just be playing all by himself and Claire will be playing by herself too.. I've tried to put the siblings to play together but poor Claire will always end up being bullied by gor gor Ryan. Nevertheless, i'll try to put the two of them playing together as often as i can, hopefully they can learn to play together. Even if it's just simple toys like this..playing with the paint rollers.. You can see..gor gor is teaching Claire how to hold the roller! So touching..

Ryan's down with high fever

It's been almost a year or more since his last fever..this time it hits the highest, 40.7 degrees

It happened last friday..brought him to the Yu Guo chinese physician due to his cough. The chinese physician said his body is very heaty..did the 'kua sar' (scrapping on the back) Gosh!! turned patchy red, needless to say, he was wailing!! That evening, he's feverish already, 39degree! As the chinese physician mentioned either the fever hits in the night else he'll not have it. Brought him to see Dr HO, given suppository and some medication. Poor boy, he didn't have a good sleep, keep waking up half way thru his sleep cos the fever came n go..hits 40.4 on saturday..kept telling pa pa to bring him to KKH but he didn't want..saying KKH will shower him in cold water, he'll go crazy!! I was so angry yet i kept quiet. I've tried sponging him, feed him medication on time, gave him plenty of liquid as he refuse food for the entire fever bout..yet his fever wun subside instead it got worst. Till around 9pm, i insist sending him to KKH as i didn't want to take risk of his fever hitting higher in the middle of the night. Call me a paranoid, KS or watever..i simply cannot take the risk if anything were to happen to him. At KKH, they inserted another suppository..it's such a powerful suppository, it brings the fever down fast!! Did an x- ray, found some inflammation in his lungs due to his cough. Need to return in 3 wks to do another check up.

Ryan was so scared at KKH cos all the nurses and doctors were wearing a mask..it seems aliens to him. The very moment they speak, he'll cry and wants to go home. Since the trip to KKH, it managed to bring his fever down and i managed to control his fever with the medication and the most rewarding part is that i have much easier time to make him take his medications, haha!! Every sunday is suppose to be visiting the Ah Mahs and Ah Gong day, but this sunday..everyone came over to visit him instead! Gosh..look how precious he is to the Ah Mahs and Ah Gong, even Dua Pek and Rachel Jie Jie came over!!

Yogurt for Claire

Claire is more adventurous in experimenting new food as compared to Ryan. Ryan prefers to stick to the same old familar food..whereas Claire is open to try out new stuffs..

I bought the Baby Yoplait for herto try.. i remember i bought the same for Ryan when he was about CLaire's age.. He loves it. So i thot perhaps Claire might like it too..

When i showed her the yougurt..she keep holding it on her hands, refusing to let go. Putting it in her mouth, trying very hard to bite it! You're a smart gal! You know it's food huh?!!

Paint Paint Paint

It's been super duper long since the last time mummy let me play with paints..

Needless to say, i was delighted and am looking forward to the activity after lunch. I bugged mummy for the paints, brought her to the study room, keep pointing to the bottles of paints sitting in the cupboard.. Mummy asked me to choose only 2 colours..i chose Blue and Yellow.. Holding to the bottles of paint, i couldn't wait for mummy to lay the paper..i'm trying open up the paint!!






When mummy has prepared everything ready for my..here i go..holding onto the rollers, i try out yellow..rolling to n fro... then i mix with a little blue..hmm..exploring with colours..


Mummy couldn't resist..but to keep snapping pics of me while i was enjoying my paint job.

Mummy remembers vividly, when i was in GUG, i never like to have paints on my fingers.. the moment i got paints on my fingers, i would drop everything and wanted to wash hands then i'll never continue with paints anymore.

Now that i'm older, i can handle paints better..i enjoy it better. Mummy was glad that i'm enjoying myself with the paints.

I can also do fingers painting.. mixing between yellow and blue. Look at my finger prints!! Aint' they cute??
